Come and ask questions about what is being done with the puppy mill issues.  John Moyer is the Program Manager, Outreach, for the Puppy Mills Campaign at HSUS. He is responsible for working with businesses to help encourage them to implement humane policies. This includes the converting of pet stores that formerly sold puppies to a new humane model in which they will only offer shelter puppies and dogs for adoption. So far, over 20,000 shelter dogs and cats have been saved as a result of the HSUS’s pet store conversion program. He also oversees the Breeder’s Advisory & Resource Council (BARC) members in our ongoing collaboration to stop puppy mill cruelty.
